We discussed this before if I remember correctly. I still lean towards an Iraqi attribution. But yes, could also be Syrian. Also, its really worth it to work on the blade.

Can you take better photos of the steel? Syrians make blades that look great but those blades tend to be crowbar heavy. A pattern can tell a lot. Tang is definitely new but that is ok.

Nope. The style is specific to Jezzine, southern Lebanon. Has nothing to do with Majdalshams. Scabbard is likely done in Damascus or.... Beirut.
