Thank you David ... I wasnt sure which category to put it in I must admit. Though it does have some weight to it and the fact that it is pointed made me consider that it could be a weapon .

that's a real possibility Rick .... in my picture No 3 above I illustrate the muzzle of an Indian musket which also features a permanently fixed bayonet . This weapon I believe to be for hunting...
