Or a Malay blade mounted on a Guom in Vietnam / Indochine for Yvain
Viet swords were influenced by Chinese weapons, so it is normal...

Hi, Very nice Wootz blade, I think it's a dragon or Azhdaha. A similar blade is displayed in the MET catalogue if I'm not mistaken and the same sword can be seen in Rivkin's book on Eastern swords....

I agree 100% with you. It's a "push sword", and the hilts from Central Asia/ Turkic / nomadic populations have something in common. Early Ottoman and persian swords have also the same kind of hilts....
