It stands for company. My WIDC cutlass came from Eastern Europe and how it got there is a mystery. Also the WIDC museum dated it circa 1812-1820 and asked if I cared to donate it. Cheers- bbjw

Decorative/souvenir piece. Real ones were all steel except for perhaps a brass decoration on the 'hammer' and a screw in spike in the handle with handcut threads.--bbjw

The oldest kukri I have ( from a well known San Francisco collector) circa 1800 has a cho/kaudi. Koras before that did not have one. At least as far as I know.-- bbjw
