It measures 35 cm long, the blade is 21 cm long and is in Damascus, the bone handle

Interesting dagger. Looks like a Sudanese khanjar, could use clearer shots of the blade :-)

I would agree looking at the medial ridge and the bone grip.

As Gav said, yep this is Sudanese. It seems to have lost the thuluth etching though. Its an interesting piece because generally those come with thin blades, this has a nice thick one :-)

If you look closely at the last few photos, the thuluth is still faintly visible. :cool:
