This is my last adquisition, I bought it yesterday,and I wish than dagger arrives to spain soon!! The dagger has initials on blade. Triangle blade. Scabbard is covered with some type of scales. maybe shell.
Overall Length 52 CM, Blade 38CM, Dagger 50 CM, 575 grams more than 1/2 Kilo.

Great find Carlos!! :eek: We definitely need to get envy added to the smiles selection. Yes, I would agree that it is Ilocano and probably from the late 19th to early 20th century. The scabbard looks to be covered in thin pieces of water buffalo horn. I was lucky enough to find a couple of these daggers but non with a blade of this length. My congratulations on this wonderful addition to your collection.

Nice piece. I think the scabbard is covered in turtle shell instead of horn. Better closeups would be helpful.

Agreed with Battara, the scales are tortoise shells.

I have read your post with yours daggers ans thanks to this I decided to buy my new adquisition.
