I just found this on a French site.......




XVIIIe siècle - bon état

KERIS Sajen - Kris Majapahit
Talisman de droite antique avec claire Patris (Patris Anak). Ganja et lame est un. De même, la poignée qui est fusionnée à la lame. Ces « primaires krisses » sont appréciés des collectionneurs. Le boîtier est d’une date ultérieure, mais a bon ajustement parfait. Généralement, ils sont offerts afin que ce paréo type walikat le cristal soit bien protégé sans pansement. Dimensions : 29 cm.

Primitive à la recherche (amulette) keris, grossièrement falsifié en fer soudé, la poignée est une seule pièce avec la lame, donc il n’y a aucun ganja distinct. La forme de la poignée représente un squat ou un personnage debout. Patris est typiquement Adeg ou Sanak.
Ce type de kris est également connu sous le nom de kris de Majapahit, qui les relient à la dynastie hindoue qui régna de Java et une partie des îles voisines durant les cent 14ème-15ème. mais cette datation est contestée par les experts indonésiens comme les krisses de l’époque Majapahit sont précieux et de grande qualité, contrairement à la conception simple de la sajen kris. Une autre théorie relie l’origine du sajen kris aux poignards de bronze...

What a poor translation in French, except the last paragraph which seems to be copied from my first book.....
This kris sajen was recently sold by an experienced Dutch collector.
