Default Yataghan

Hi folks,

Just got this yat. Date is 1320 (1902). 25" long
This type of T-pommel has been said to originate from the Anatolian centre. The decoration recalls the treatment of Laz Bicagi handles. BS coast?

No comments on this type of yat? Is it representative of early 20th century varieties?

Not much to add to what you have written in your opening post. The engraving on the blade looks almost as if someone was trying to imitate a koftgari decoration - including even the cross hatched pattern.
Regards,
Teodor
