Default African? dagger

Hello all,

I bought this interesting little dagger today, and wonder if any members can give me some more information on it?

The blade is 7.5 inches long, and almost 3 inches at its broadest. It would appear to be iron, judging by the corrosion.

The handle is 4 inches, made of either bone or horn, though I am leaning towards the former due to its colouring.

Any insight gratefully received!

It's a Lega knife from Congo, unfortunately made for tourists.
Made from sheet metal.
