Default A very rustic taiwanese crossbow

Well, some friends of mine knowing I'm crazy about everything from the Taiwan aboriginal people picked up this for me while on a trip in the central part of the island. Ah, if all my friends were as generous !
Anyway, I couldn't resist sharing it here.
It appears to be a very basic but authentic weapon from the 1960s-70s.
Wooden butt, iron transversal bow. Probably the inner tube of a tyre was used as a string, but it's not here anymore.
