Default Pair of Boxlock pistols by SPENCER of London

I've got this pair in its box made by Spencer. The box shoes on its cover the brass coat of arms of the Order of the Garter with a family crest in its centre shield. Perhaps anybody here is able to find out to which family this family crest belongs?

That’s the Royal Arms of England: ”Dieu et mon droit” (God and my Right).

Hello Corrado

I do not want to seem unfriendly, but it seems to me that the box in which the accessories are has some details that do not agree. First of all, the "label" is very old and does not match the condition of the box. The caliper for melting bullets has a tip that acts as a ramrod for muzzle loading, and in unscrewable barrel and forced bullet pistols, it is unnecessary. The other end seems to have ended in a corkscrew to extract the bullet, broken and unnecessary. In addition, it lacks the key that fitted into the shoulder in the barrel to unscrew it. The oil can seems modern to me, and I've seen it in a painter's box. The set of fibers seems to me that it does not correspond, unless it is for cleaning- What is interesting is the powder horn.

I also see no concordance in the two boxes.

Affectionately

Many of these boxed pistols have had replacements over their lifetime.
The labels of makers can be found online and reproduced and aged.
I'm not sure why the Royal Arms is on the lid. Hopefully the price reflects any restorations here. Fernando has a good eye for these.

I forgot to mention that the barrels are not to be unscrewed. Originally they could be unscrewed but are now fixed and need a ramrod to be loaded. This ramrod is part of the bullet mould as is the corkscrew to pull out bullets in case this should be necessary. The small oil flask made of tin with a brass stopper is absolutely original but was dirty so I cleaned it.
