Default Books on Swedish Arms

In addition to the book just posted on European makers markings by Staffan Kinman, President of the Swedish Arms & Armour Society, these other two titles I believe are also to be available through Ken Trotman arms books in England.

These are annual yearbooks of the Society, published by the Livrustkammren museum in Stockholm, and though much of the text is of course in Swedish, Mr. Kinman always generously supplies thorough English translation summaries and the photos are great!

The first, for 2014, is fantastic ! " The Edged Weapons of Sweden" and excellent in identifying these swords with intriguing details which reflect the important history of this country.

The second, for 2016, is of course presently being published, and concentrated on historic detail on the furbishers of Sweden, as well as sections on markings and pertinent discussion on aspects of these industries in Sweden in historic times.
