Default Very fine Shona Bakatwa dagger

A real beauty this one, a fine Shona bakatwa dagger. The off-set cruciform blase measures approx 20cm x 2.5cm and is locally forged. The brass working throughout is superb and this is by far the best example of these rare dagger that we've yet seen. The patination on the brass and wood suggest a cosiderable age. A very nice piece. Overall length 35cm. Condition throughout is superb; there is some damage to the brass work on the lower front of the scabbard-see pictures.

Price: £150 including postage and packing.
