Thumbs up

Welcome to the forum, Tipus!

This sword seems to be related to one or likely two pattern(s) of swords (exhibiting quite some diversity) already discussed in these threads:
http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=991
http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=21429

Is it yours? For better evaluation, it would be important to know more details on this example:
Any details on provenance?
Dimensions like length, blade thickness, etc?
Any details on materials and bladesmithing? Is the steel of laminated construction or made from crucible steel (wootz)?
Any Indian ricasso at the base of the blade?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Regards,
Kai
