Handle I guess is wood of some sort, nice blade. Comments welcome. Are these just utility knives or a weapon? ![]() ![]() |

![]() Nice piece Gene. My guess would be either ebony or teak for the handle, but could also be some other sort of tropical wood. Nathaniel would know I suspect.

Too kind Stu, I'm not sure. I'm with Jose, it would be interesting to see some more pictures in better light. There are so many different beautiful hardwoods in SEA. Maybe a type of Ebony? The handle has a nice dark patina. Jose is right, it could also be horn...which also shows a grain. ![]() ![]() |
