Default English Back sword 1731

Hi,
This sword came out of the woodwork locally from the family of the original owner ,overall in very good condition the leather of the scabbard has almost fossilized? there is a similar hilt at the York museum[in the book on English Basket Hilts] the inner guard is dated 1731? and 2 other marks a set of punched dots and a small mark that i can't work out,the inner guard has what appears to be black pitch which also appears to have at one time also been on the outside?has a very old scabbard repair .
there are 2 further marks a 45 and a 60 0n the scabbard and pommel ,
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks Mark
