Default Bengal Sentali Buckler

Greetings folks,

I know this piece is a little out of my area, but I got this Sentali buckler off ePrey.

The front is bronze with iron highlights. An iron spike and curl is on front and back, as well as a rim of iron.

There are four central domes made of copper coins (can still see writing on them). I replaced the missing eight copper domes and bolted them to the shield.

The first picture is how I got it, and the second is what I did after cleaning and restoring it.

I post this because these are rare, and rarer still are these made of bronze from the late 18th century.

Included is a picture of Sentali warriors holding such bucklers from Artzi's site.

Enjoy!
