Default The Marc and Denyse Ginzberg Collection, African Forms

Some nice pieces in african arms in this sale at Sotheby's.
Very expensive of course...

Interesting, slightly too rarefied atmosphere for me. Not that I cannot cut the mustard with them.

Most of these weapons are published in the book AFRICAN FORMS.
It's a reference book for ethnographic african objects, a very nice and good book, cheaper than the pieces on sale at Sotheby's...

I think it would be great if the collectors of african weapons and art from our forum would pool there collections and publish a book. We have so many knowlegable people on the forum. We can then donate the profits from the book to African charities in the Congo and Dafur regions.
