Default Old parang with new sheath ??

Just finished in Ebay, 26 1/5 overall with 20 in blade, seems a old parang with a new sheath, maybe Borneo?

This looks like a variation on one of those 'bat headed' swords; usually we see them with quillon and knucklebow .

Default I have it !!

Yesterday I received the parang And I´m very happy , the parang is very good, strong, and well made and the scabbard is very good too, with a suspension system curious and usable.
