OLD MORO PANABAS for sale

Old Moro panabas for sale...most likely Maguindanao in origin. This panabas was collected from an estate sale along with a collection of other Moro and Filipino weapons. The original owner was a veteran of the Moro wars and brought this back during the turn of the century and his family kept it ever since. This panabas has a HEAVY 16 inch blade and is 28.5 inches overall. The octagonal hilt has geometric carvings towards the end and was filled with lime at one time. The rattan grip is all intact and is in excellent condition. This panabas has excellent balance and "talks." It definately has been used for its intended purpose. Overall, in excellent condition.
