Default African Spear

I've had this African spear (Luba?)for sometime and realize I know very little about it. Its a little over 5ft O.A. Thats iron wraped around the shaft. Whats the deal with the paint on the blade? Something done by the native owner or a collector? What group of people does this belong to? Period of manufacture? Look forward to your comments.

I think you have an 'Ngbandi'-spear from Congo. What intrigues me is the colour of the spearblade. I have seen African weapons with red or white coloured blades (sometimes both colours are used), but never green painted ones.

Here are some similar ones with different butt ends.

Thanks Freddy.
Great spears you got there. I have done a search now that I know what to look for. Found lots of info. There are many variations. I especially like the variation with the hugh blade called Ndimba . I'll have to keep my eye open for these in the future.
