Default Visit to Atlanta Cutlery warehouse

And a huge pile of antique guns and edged weapons.

Went to AC recently. About 45 miles from where we live. Humongous warehouse filled with all sorts of interesting stuff, from hundred year old khuks, percussion cap muskets, Martini rifles (long and short lever models), piles and piles! Some kind of BIG wheeled gun from Nepal.

Atlanta Cutlery bought out some large Nepal armory with hundreds, maybe thousands of guns, early 1800s percussion cap Enfield muskets to late 1800s Martini metallic cartridge rifles. Prices seem very reasonable.

A lot of bayonets and swords. Even found a small cache of tulwars in a back room.

There is the middle of all this stuff I found an exquisite Snider Carbine! See my other thread.

They pick through them and put together some very nice ones as well as some that are sold cheap!

A friend who lives in Mexico asked me to pick out a few khuks for him. I found him a nice Patu and a Longleaf khuk with Nepalese language on the spines. It was a messy business, having to root through cosmoline covered khuks.

We were not in the area where they have the replicas though we visited the showroom. Interesting stuff, but not into the replicas as much as I like antiques.

Anne did like the SPARTA outfit on one of the mannikins. Not for herself, she just liked the way the guy looked. Didn't do much for me. Guy in a Speedo with a spear, shield and cape?

But here are some pics of the warehouse, including a really neat Indian guy named Mondi. He is working with another customer, installing some parts on an American made Martini that was used in Turkey.
