Markings on blade appear to be Chinese? Japanese?...certainly oriental of some sort, otherwise not a clue.

It looks like a ceremonial Chinese axe head for a pole arm. Age, most probably made yesterday but I'm certainly not an expert on Chinese stuff.

This is a copy made possibly only months ago certainly not even 10 years ago. It is known as a Ge halberd, Shang dynasty 13-11 cent BC. So you would have to be so very lucky to find this or you are one of the super rich. This example is inlaid with turquoise and from thr Rijksmuseum Amsterdam.
