Default Unusual Piha Kaetta

Hello All!

I was finally able to get my hand on a nice little Piha Kaetta. It is small only 8" total! But it is good quality and well made. The rock crystal hilt is nicely carved and intact. The blade seems a little differant than most. Below is the lick to Oriental-Arms from whom I bought the Knife. Is it true that these were not fighting weapons but rather a fashion excessory. Sri Lankan "Bling-Bling" Any comments are welcome, better pictures to come.

Very interesting. I'm looking forward to what the experts say. Looks like a much better blade than most PK's I've ever seen. Very nice!

Yes, the blade does look strange....
It almost looks like those old Victorian British carving knives.
Where is the turkey?
