Default Indian cavalry dart.

This was once a beautiful item. Pictures from my recent visit to the Pitt Rivers Oxford. Sorry for the poor pictures but it is a university museum collection and not really designed for general public display. The cabinets can be opened for the students. This item was in an difficult position in the case, at the back under a partition so I could not get one clear picture. However I thought this was something many of us will not have seen before and was once a very lovely thing. Imagine it in flight. Sorry for some reason I did not use the flash on the feather flight section. About a metre or more long .
