Default Help with old family ring inscription



Can anyone help me? I dont know if its Arabic, Ottoman, or Bosnian in arabic script. If you can read it, would you please translate, I would really appreciate your help

Thank you

I tried but its very hard, the stone is brown, and inscription is chisseled into it so its hard to see with naked eye.

Try opening in new tab and making the picture smaller, its easier to see. Tbh, I dont understand why the picture is so large here on forum

Looks like it is an Islamic (Ottoman?) signet ring. Notice that the engraving is backwards so that when pressed into wax, the script will be correct.

Makes me wonder if the silver mounting is later, though I am not up on my signet rings.

It's a seal ring. In order to read it easily, you need to stamp it into a piece of clay or putty and shoot a jpeg of that. It looks like a name but an impression of it will confirm what it says.
