Unhappy A blurry picture gamble goes wrong-

This would have been quite an interesting west African long knife/machete. The knife alone to me is a little lost without the scabbard. The picture was a little blurry but not too much, I thought . The description was one of good condition, no picture of the bad side of the scabbard was supplied, it was just said to be tired The over all length of the knife 64cm, It was not that expensive, some you win some just make you feel a prat!

Declaration of damaged parts makes a seller more trustworthy and respected. (Prevents unnecessary negative feedback on eBay.)

At the very least, a picture showing the damaged area.
I also understand that by doing so, the final price cannot reach it's full
potential. But failure to show the damaged parts is as good as trying to
cheat, (imo only).

I understand the feeling of receiving damaged goods.

Cool

This is part and parcel of doing business on that site .

Unless the Seller offers an examination period of course .
My advice ... put the Seller through the third degree .
If he is at all evasive walk away quickly .
If he lies report him to the site admin .

Also always buy using a C.Card .
