Default Oh no ...not another river find

Hi everyone,
just finished on eBay....its a medieval...no..a Viking ...no ..a Sudanese 'non rotting / minimal rusting' sword

Dug up from the Thames Estuary. Surely easily dated to the time the Toureg invasion force landed at Tower Bridge
At least the bidding didn't go too high.

Well, he mentioned Sudan, didn't he?
Could have been thrown into the water by some British soldier who brought it from Africa, or it may be a sword of Azeem who helped Kevin Costner to regain Loxley castle
