Rare Italian percussion pistol for the navy model 1844. It is a model 1776 pistol which has been converted to percussion. The barrel is marked with SC 1855 and the lock plate with AA FABB.R in TORINO. The brass parts are also all marked. The barrel is pitted. All other ironwork has a dark patina. The spring is still very strong and the cock can be cocked and fired. The woodwork has a nice light color. There is a metal belt hook on the counter plate.
