Default Opinions about lantaka, real or fake

This is my last adquisition, it isn,t my field but price was good and in Spain normally all weapons from philippines are real and authentic.
Measures 27 in, made of bronze.
Opinions are wellcome.
When arrived lantaka to his new home I made more pictures.
Thanks
Carlos

Of course it is very difficult to judge only from a few pictures, and I am by no means very knowledgeable about the topic...

However, to me the quality of the casting is terrible (visible porosity and incomplete filling of the mould), and the whole piece appears to be very recently cast without any age patination...

I hope to be wrong...

I have seen many cannons like that badly cast but they were authentic.
Authentic local currency or weeding gifts not real cannon on board
if you want to fire this cannon, it will explode in your face for sure.

It maybe recently made. Yes the casting is terrible and what is worse is that patina in the crevices is missing.

Also the touch hole - it looks too crisp. These were also used as signal cannons. Yours is not the right size for a signal lantaka.
