Default Interesting Indo Persian Dhal Shield

I just got this interesting dhal that seems a cut above the usual ones of this type.21" in diameter, not warped, the bosses are somewhat unusual, lacquered inside, and heavy iron posts for the handles and padding which is unfortunately missing.

Thanks. Based on the 4 bosses, do you think that it is Indian?

The whole shield screams Indian. Do you see any traces of gilding on the bosses? You'll want to search closely, under magnification.

The bosses appear to be either silver or more probably brass with a silver wash covering them; I did not want to polish them and lose the patina.
