Default Sources for replacement sheaths/scabbards?

We see a lot of weapons in various forums that have, for one reason or another, lost their original scabbards. There's all sorts of advice and methods for preserving and protecting the resultant naked blades, but does anyone know of a source to have replacement scabbards made, preferably in a traditional manner? This seems to be especially a curse of Middle Eastern and Indian weapons, no doubt because it was too hard to find which scabbard went with which trophy when Tommy was picking up his souvenir from the battlefield. I know I have one khyber knife I would much rather see in its own sheath again, and I just bought a puloar that will be arriving sans scabbard.

So, any ideas? Or is this a bad idea?
