Default Can Anyone I.D. This Mideastern Dagger?

Happy New Year, All!

Just joined recently, here's my first post. Can anyone help me identify what in blazes this dagger is? I'm told it's Persian, but I can't find another one like it online. Reminds me of an Indonesian Gunong, but the decorations don't quite work for that.

It's 10 inches including the scabbard, 9 inches without it (5" blade, 4" handle). Seems to be made of wood, bone and brass, with a definite patina to the brass, guessing it's 20+ years old.

Any help identifying where it's from, what type, etc., would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks, all.
