Extraordinary Gold & Jeweled Keris, part 1
Up for sale is an extraordinary Bali/Lombok Keris mounted with gold, ivory, silver and sapphires. A rare piece for the serious collector.
The Gold handle and scabbard test to be 18 kt plus and the silver tests .900 or better, the wrongko is ivory, it is estimated 19th century and measures 29-1/2 in. including the scabbard. The provenance is from a highly priced quality collection in Virginia, I will name the collection upon request. Due to CITES I will only ship this piece to an address within the USA. After 654 looks since April 28th, and not one serious offer I will transfer this to Ebay, If no action there it will go to a major auction house later this year.
