This is a wonderful piece, thank you for sharing it!
I don't know where Marta Poera is. Is it in or near the island of Borneo (I base this on its style)? |

What a great piece Dajak. I especially like the detailed cutout in the center of the blade. I hope you don't mind but I have adjusted the color and turned the photo to try and show a bit more of the detailing. Thank you for sharing this with us all.
Best, Robert |

A BEAUTIFUL SPEAR HEAD. THE WORKMANSHIP IS FIRST RATE AND THE CUT-OUT DESIGN SOMETHING I HAVE NOT SEEN COMING FROM BORNEO. IS THAT REGION KNOWN FOR GOOD SWORDS AND SPEARS? WHAT IS THE APPROXIMATE AGE OF THIS SPEAR BASED ON THE TIME AND HISTORY OF THE KINGDOM?
A GREAT AND UNIQUE FIND, |
