Default Large Balkan Kama for ID

Here is an unusual large Balkan kama for your comments. The whole weapon is 62 cm (24 inches) long and weighs a hefty 700 grams (1.5 lbs). It looks like it was made from a cut down sword blade. The guard is also very unusual and could have been taken from another weapon as well, and the same goes for the hanger. The year is totally puzzling, as it is in Arabic numerals, but cannot be Hijri, as it is too high. I guess it could be 1941, but this appears a little older than that.

What are your thoughts?

Thank you,
Teodor
