Default Very Nice, Unique Tuareg Takouba For Sale or Trade

I bought this one on Ebay a few weeks ago and had good intentions of keeping it, but too many "irons in the fire" at the moment, and some things must go.

This is a VERY interesting and fine takouba. I am thinking it is at least pre 1950. This is a very dressy ceremonial piece, and probably never intended for combat as the blade is blunt.

The scabbard art is tooled leather and beautifully done. One baldric ring is missing. There is a brass chape. The pommel is steel with copper and brass decoration.

The sword is 34in. overall, with a blade of 26in. The blade is decorated down the center with "eye lash" marks. It's a heavy, sturdy blade, but not sharp.

I'd like $300(shipping included) in sale or trade.

If interested please send me a private email...and if you are proposing a trade, please send pics of trade-ables.
