Default Mandau with an Odd Blade

This Mandau? belongs to Lonna and Dave S.
Dave S. gave me the permission to post photos of this Mandau.

Uuuh, damn, that is nice!

Thanks for taking/posting pics, Albert. Congrats, Lonna and Dave!

Also the carving style seems to be a bit unusual. Moreover, the pommel end is asymmetrically carved - something I haven't seen to such an extent yet.

I hope more Borneo aficionados will chime in shortly.

This is the best "fantasy" dayak parang I have seen, interesting.
It seems to be concave/convex?
If so it might be a cool interpretation of an usong bila,
made a long time after the practice of headhunting ceased?
