Default african spear?

I wonder if any of our members could give me any idea about the origin of this spear?

I don't think the bamboo shaft, although old, is original to the spear.

The spear head looks Danakil but the shaft is not original. HerE is one from my collection. Don't really know if it's a match but maybe

This kind of spear was common in various parts of Ethiopia, it is possible to see them eg hanged on walls in restaurants etc as decoration in Addis and its surroundings, currently. Bamboo shaft could be original, even if the sleeve pieces of spearhead and shoe are slightly bigger - if it took fast hold, they did not mind it. This spear is also common in Bale mountains, including the bamboo shaft.

Hi

The spearhead is probably from the Eastern Sudan area (Beja tribes) - but the bamboo shaft doesn't belong. Probably a garden cane...

Regards.
