Default Two Wakizashi looking for info.

Hi
I purchased these two Japanese swords, wanted one for a while and two came up for sale weeks apart and I went on impulse and purchased the two.
I know othing at all about these weapons and told honest there is so so much to learn about these that I am a bit put off going onto a forum and asking what are these but here goes
Sword one 22 1/2 inch blade, barely visible hamon but it is there, no proper polish. No tsuba but two leather washers in its place to make the handle a tight fit. Peg is lost. The metal icon under the distressed wrap looks to be of good quality and detail, missing butt cap on the end of handle. What may be interesting is the 3 holes in the tang so it must have some age two have been re mounted a few times.
No markings on tang at all bar the file marks.
If more pictures required, no problem
So question is has any one got any information as to what this is.
Age, period etc...
I will put second Wakizashi up as a follow on post.
I
