Default Also a gamble..

It looks like it,s a gamble week
I also did take a gamble on marktplaats here, i recieved it today .
the wranka is nothing, to damaged.

but the blade and the hilt are a good gamble.
the blade is now in a bath for de-rusting.

i.m not sure if the blade is a madurese or east javanes.
pamor is ujung gunung and on the other side maube a batu lapak but i have to
clean it first .

I am curious to see pictures Danny! Up's, I have been to fast!! Nice blade and the sarung don't look so bad like you write, from the pictures it look restorable. When the blade fit good inside I think it is better to restore it than to look for a other one. (pm me when you need help by this).

Regards,

Detlef

Wow, so fast stained? Very good job! I think that the nice blade is from Madura, I like it!

Certainly a gamble that paid off. How bad is the sheath? The pictures don't show...

Looks like the blade has an ujung gunung pamor at the base. Quite unusual for a non-Bugis/Malay blade, I thought. The whole ensemble looks matching.

Hi Guy,s,

Yes i stained it quite quick, the solustion is strong so it don,t take a lot of time.
the rust was also easy to remove.

There is Ujung Gunung on both side,s , but it won,t come out verry clear , i don,t know why? it,s a pitty.

Here some photo,s of the sheat .
