Question Polish L-guard sword: restoration project

Gents, glad to join your community.
Few days ago I've acquired this lovely saber.
Now I'm in thoughts - how to make a new grip.
It will be great if you can give me any advice.

Hi Evgeny,

This is too nice a piece to do on your own unless you have extensive experience. Get a professional to do it or you might make this valuable piece worthless.

All the Best
Jeff

Thank you so much Vitaly!
We have moved this thread to the European Forum, this would be a most valuable addition there!

Best regards,
Jim
