Default Atayal blades in action- a movie trailer just released

In different previous posts, Kukulza and I attracted your attention on a movie trailer called ‘Seediq Bale’ about the last Taiwan aborigines rebellion in the 30s. It is showing some blades we are talking about on this forum.

The movie first couldn’t be pictured because of lack of investments. But then the director that was at the origin of the project did a big commercial hit in Taiwan with another movie and was able to finalize its dream, thanks to its newly found fortune.
The movie ‘Seediq Bale’ will come out on the Taiwanese screen in two parts in September and October, and I’m sure it will be a hit in the island as well as in China and in other countries (I hope). Anyway, it’s the biggest movie production ever made in Taiwan.
Well, its current trailer is now available, and you can see in action Atayal (other name: Tayal)/Seediq (other orthographs:Sediq-Sedeq)/Truku(other name: Taroko) as well as Japanese Imperial army blades:

Looks very interesting! That is fantastic this film actually happened, featuring part of the history of the Taiwanese aboriginals. I'll definitely have to pick that one up on DVD! Thanks Yuanzhumin for bringing this to the forum attention!!!

Thanks for the heads-up on this.Looks like it will be a great movie. I just hope that they at least make a sub titled version.
