Default Mark/stamp on a blade: info wanted!

Hello forumfriends,

I'm looking for somebody who can tell me more about a stamp/mark on a blade on an Aceh peudeueng (Indonesian sabre).
Probably the blademark could be European, so if you please have a look if you have ever seen this mark in the other thread?: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...460#post121460

Kind Regards,
Maurice

There has been some good work done on this mark in these pages too I am sure....Jim or another here will surely know as it is of European origins to me.

Good luck.

Gav

Thank you Gav!!!
I've responded over on the Ethnographic where this is also posted. While the blade is European, it does seem it ended up in Indonesia in the East Indies trade of course.

All the best,
Jim
