Red face Another Hilt Wanted Please

I know its a long shot, but does anyone have a Jambiya Hilt/Handle resembling in shape any of these. It does not have to be ornate, or for that matter silver, but at least of the right variety to suit the complete item shown here. The handle on this piece is not the original, but is an old replacement for the original which has either been lost or damaged in some way.
Also looking for translation of the Arabic on the scabbard please.
Thanks in hope.
Stuart

The hilt strikes me as Sudanese? It does not seem to be a standard Hirjaz grip can you post a close up please.

Hi Lew,
No it is not the typical Hijazi style, but it has been with the piece for a very long time by the look of it. I would be quite happy to leave it the way it is, but if I could get the right type of hilt, I would probably change it back to the way it should be. Mind you these pieces, especially the older ones have a "history" and it may be better to leaves things as they are. What do you think?
Regards Stuart

Thanks very much Jentayu. I like to try and find out as much as I can about pieces which come my way. Maybe I should take a course in Arabic!! If you can sort out the first word I would be grateful.
Regards Stuart
