I bought this axe.
I do not know his source.
It is forged steel.
It has a great sonority.
it is wood handle
I would like your opinion.

I am not sure you will be able to establish its ethnic origin, but.. Woe to the Thanksgiving turkey...

It looks to be a copy of European (medievel period) war axe/war hammer combination. The 'hammer' part was to bludgeon your armour wearing opponent ...usually on the head

Ah eBay.....don't you just love it I agree that the time period is wrong ...looks more recent than medievel / Renaissance Period ...never occured to me that it was a woodworking tool
