Thumbs up Scarce "Buddhist" Dha for Sale.

US$475.00. Domestic shipping (within contiguous 48 states) included. Actual shipping will be additional outside the US.

Dha-lwe. Myanmar (Burma). Early-Mid 20th Century.
Rattan and brass mountings covered with pitch. New textile baldric and white Buddhist string bindings. Blade engraved with Buddhist inscriptions/blessings.

Overall length: 69.5 cm
Blade length: 48 cm
Handle length: 21.5 cm
Scabbard length: 51 cm

This particular sword was loaned to the Macao Museum of Art for the "History of Steel in East Asia" exhibit, and is featured in the catalogue from that exhibit via the following photo:
