Default WW2 BURMA 14th ARMY KUKRI for sale

Not a REGULATION military issue kukri but it did belong to an officer in the 14th ( the Forgotten ) Army in Burma. He was attached to the Indian Beach Landing Brigade . Stuck on the scabbard is his 14th Army patch which is the rare leather backed PRINTED version . Clearly visible is a circular mark above this patch which looks as though another leather backed patch has fallen off or been removed ... it is the correct size and shape for a Beach Landing Party patch.
The kukri itself is 43 cm long across the curve and its greatest blade width is 5 cm . The grip is of wood with aluminium diamond inserts . There is no pommel cap though it may once have had one. The bolster is iron and the grip is 11 cm long. Weight excluding scabbard is 363 g . The scabbard is in good shape ... just a little dry and scuffed . Only 1 by-knife remains.
Overall a good example of a non standard kukri carried in WW2 Burma.
I would need £95 for this plus postage at cost ...
UK £4
EUROPE £8
REST OF WORLD £15
