Default Happy 2nd Day of the New Year :)

Ah well, better late then never.

!!!Happy 2007!!!

Here's a Balinese keris blade that I have had in my collection for 4 years. I have not had it "dressed" yet because I could not find a craftsman of adequate skills to make the sheath. The blade is massive and really looks like a snake.

Sweet blade. Thanks for sharing. Bali keris are my favorites for sure.
There must be some mranggi (i think that's the right term, still early, no coffee yet ) still working in Bali that can do this work. You are certainly closer than i am.

Thanks David! I hope to find one soon! Sometimes, geographic proximity does not guarantee that we can find the right people.

Now, if only my keris with the tumpal keli pamor work its tuah and enhance my socialization and acceptance within the correct circle...
