Default unknown dagger

Would anybody know where this one comes from and perhaps its age ?

Grip made of dark horn with brass.
total 37 cm, blade 24,5 cm

Hello,

I would say it is a shortened german "Jagdplaute" from the early 19th, maybe late 18th century.
It is difficult to say more about this piece because it is just a fragment.

Hunting dagger with incomplete and reshaped blade.

However, the blade doesn't appear to belong to the hilt.

My guess...

PS: Shouldn't this be better suited for the European section?!

The " irregularity" is a decoration element.
A Jagdplaute is a sword and no dagger, so a big part of the blade is lost. In my opinion it's the original blade and belongs to the handle.
